1. After reading about the readings on the phenomenal of the blog, I can conclude the rise of the blogger is here to stay! The lifestyle of the blogger is one that involves dedication, focus and a vision. I am very sure that there are folks out there who have blogs that are not completely honest, but it is not always easy pointing them out. To me, its not a big deal either way because blogging is like a form of entertainment, the same way our actresses and television shows are not always honest, we are still in love what the idea of what is being shown. It is important to keep in mind that as one of the readings mentioned, blogging will never take over big media but will assist it with its growth.
2. For my final project, I would like to investigate Christianity and how it has evolved over the years. I am interested in the "modernization" of religion. How it has changed from 1980s to now, what do the churches look like? What message is the most popular? Homosexual, and the church is it possible? My final project will research all of this and more. I think it will be interesting to show clips from the old church and the "new" church.
Another idea that I am thinking is the welfare system, how is is affecting our economy is it a benefit or a hand out? I will look into how statistics and policy and how it is being used and the evolvement of the welfare system.
The final idea that I have is weddings. A ceremony or a scam? Is this another way of the society to gain our money? My research will looking into the statistic of wedding ceremonies and how much money is spent. Are there a lot of couples left in debt? Is the money worth it? How many end in divorce?
